How reset pm cli developer login credential in " pm auth userName userPassword"

I didn't find any document to reset login credential or to retrieve that, if it is there please share that.

As and when pm auth command executes, it resets the old user token(if logged in earlier). Try using wrong credentials, ex.: pm auth abc@xyz.com aaaaaa
if above credentials are wrong then it will reset old token.
We may think about adding pm logout if required.

I don't think it is resetting the existing credential. It shows me error message only.

And I if really this is happening i.e. "if credentials are wrong then it will reset existing one", then it is very wrong, it should not be like this because if by mistake user gives the wrong credential then he would never know that his credential have been reset and no more there to authenticate.

and what would be option to login if first time user gives wrong credential. because credential have been reset.

pm cli tool is resetting the auth token here not the user credentials.
