TASK: Configure OSPF on R1 and R2 so that PC1 and PC2 could Ping each other successfully

Description

In this Project, I used the Cisco packet tracer to show the configuration of the OSPF protocol on router 1 and router 2 which connects two PCs.

Program walk-through:

Check initial connectivity between PC1 and PC2:

Step 2: Assigning Process ID and the OSPF Protocol:
Step 2: router OSPF 1

  • Configure the router assigning a process ID and the OSPF protocol for routing.

Step 3: We configure the router 1 and router 2 to Enable OSPF on Router Interfaces connected

Confirming that the router indeed made a connection through the show ip route command:
route command
