I validated this bump by dispatching the cache.yml workflow on the branch, which does a full fresh jb build lectures -W --keep-going — executing every notebook under anaconda 2026.07 rather than reusing the main build cache. The branch was already current with main (0 commits behind, clean environment.yml-only diff), so no rebase was needed first.
Result: run 29707575053 completed success in 2m35s under -W --keep-going (warnings→errors) — build succeeded, 8 notebooks executed fresh, zero execution failures. conda resolved anaconda-2026.07-py313_mkl_0.
Note: the pull_request CI check isn't a real test of an env-only bump — it downloads the main build-cache artifact and skips re-executing unchanged notebooks, so the cache-workflow run above is the canonical signal.
