Hi, I'm Rishi 👋

I think about what happens when intelligence becomes infrastructure — who controls it, who gets access, and what it does to the humans using it.

I'm Co-founder & CEO of The TopScout, building Crushed Studios, and writing Tech Fondue — a newsletter where I try to untangle the second-order effects of AI that the launch announcements leave out.

Before all of this, I spent a decade in advertising, brand strategy, and influencer marketing. That background shapes how I look at AI: not as a model benchmarking exercise, but as a market-shaping force with winners, displaced, and consequences that compound quietly.

What I'm Interested In

The geopolitics of intelligence infrastructure. Where the data centers sit, whose data they ingest, and whether learning stays local or leaks global. I wrote a deep-dive on AI sovereignty tracing the $3 trillion infrastructure supercycle, the CLOUD Act tension, and why AI is traveling the internet's path from borderless to bordered — in a fraction of the time.

What AI optimization does to human judgment. Anthropic published a landmark study on disempowerment patterns — users voluntarily ceding their own decision-making to systems optimized for satisfaction. I wrote about the satisfaction paradox: the finding that users rate disempowering interactions higher than autonomy-preserving ones, and why that creates a structural trap in how we train these systems.

Open vs. closed ecosystems and who gets to build. NVIDIA's Nemotron Coalition, the collapsing cost gap between open and closed models, and what it means when a Qwen model matches Claude Sonnet at 97% less cost. I covered the coalition and the intelligence divide forming between those who can unlock the full open stack and those renting a window seat on a closed platform.

The pilot-to-production gap in enterprise AI. Why 30%+ of generative AI projects die after proof-of-concept. Data integration, cascading agent failures, hallucination in high-stakes environments, and the governance vacuum. I dissected OpenAI's Frontier strategy through this lens — the Palantir playbook at scale, and whether FDEs and McKinsey can actually compress a decade of technical debt.

What I'm Building

  • 🎬 Crushed Studios — An enterprise AI media production platform. Multi-agent film pipeline with a 6-layer prompt assembly engine, cross-scene continuity tracking, and 230+ configurable parameters. The thesis: post-production needs an operating system, not more point tools.

  • 🏗️ AI Product Lifecycle Framework — 9 coordinated AI agents + 50 skill definitions spanning product management, engineering, ML, security, and responsible AI. Open-source blueprints for the operational layer most teams skip.

  • 📐 Enterprise Vibecoder SDLC — A development framework for teams that build fast with AI but need the result to survive production. Draw the boundary map before you write a line. A monolith with internal service boundaries is already halfway to microservices.

Where I Write & Think

  • ✍️ Tech Fondue — Biweekly deep dives on AI geopolitics, sovereignty, disempowerment, open vs. closed ecosystems, and enterprise AI deployment reality. Reading the silver linings of capitalistic tech.
  • 💼 LinkedIn — Shorter-form thinking on AI economics, builder patterns, and the occasional contrarian take on what the industry is getting wrong.
