I'm looking to automate package updates and I have a couple questions:

Is there a way to configure Scoop to generate machine-readable output (e.g. JSON or JSON Lines)?
When updating an app fails (e.g. because an instance of it is running), echo $? still shows True. Is this intentional or a bug?

Most of the commands that show/list information already output rich objects - you can convert them to JSON using the ConvertTo-Json cmdlet in PowerShell
