What2Eat is a Restaurant Recommender Mobile Application

The Frontend is developed in React Native, along with Firebase as our Database. Firebase cloud function as our serverless backend server.

Prerequisite

• Can only run on MacOS
• Xcode is up to date

Set up the environment

• To set up React Native, follow the steps on: https://facebook.github.io/react-native/docs/getting-started
• Select React Native CLI Quickstart tab
• Development OS: macOS tab
• Target OS: iOS tab

To Run the simulator

//Open the terminal on your mac or macbook
cd  <Whatever directory you want the folder to be>

//Clone the repo into your mac
git clone https://github.com/nnsharon/What2Eat.git

//Go inside the folder
cd What2Eat

//Run the iOS simlulater on Xcode
npx react-native run-ios 
Or 
react-native run-ios
