Ubuntu Usage Help

I cannot find any instructions about how to use this app on Ubuntu. I have downloaded a .zip file from the soundnode site and unzipped it. After extraction I got an executable named Soundnode.
When I try to run it from terminal using ./Soundnode, I get bash: ./Soundnode: No such file or directory. I have used chmod +x Soundnode but no success.
Please guide me what should I do.

Ideally, this project should have an up-to-date package in a package repository like Bintray.

@husnain-ahmad I'm in the process of setting up a correct package repository so that you can easily install that on Ubuntu.

@husnain-ahmad Which version of Ubuntu do you have? You can find it under Information in the start menu (gear icon). If you know the command line, use lsb_release -a

I am using Ubuntu 14.04.4 LTS.

I just uploaded a soundnode version to packagecloud for 16.04 (xenial). Can you try if this works for you anyway?

curl -s https://packagecloud.io/install/repositories/JonasGroeger/soundnode/script.deb.sh | sudo bash
sudo apt-get install soundnode

I have a machine with xenial installed onto it. I'll let you know in a short while after giving this a try.

One last question: Will it work on 14.04 as well? If i curl the same bash script to a 14.04 machine will it work?

@husnain-ahmad I have added the packages for Ubuntu 14.04 (trusty) aswell. You can try them using the same procedure. I still have a traffic restriction on packagecloud.io as of now. Should be fixed once they switch me over to the open source plan.

@JonasGroeger Can you add a Debian Jessie package?
