Feature Request - Integration with MeshCore serial usb companions

Hello, is it possible in the future to make the script compatible with MeshCore as well? There is a MeshCore - MeshTastic relay that works great with usb companions and would he awesome if this script can be adapted to work with MeshCore as well. Thank you.
