The Desktop Manager launcher should have a way to define the dimensions of the selected dataset/s for import into FIJI/Napari etc
So if you select a single file we don't usually have a problem, but there might be opportunities to include missing metadata such as channel name, wavelength etc etc, or flip the dataset Z vs T etc.
But when selected say lots of .tif z-stack files, neither ImageJ or Napari reads them in as a time series, we should have the ability to do that via a simple GUI
