When the user selects CBR, we should have the ability to define the bitrate manually. Right now, there is a hidden, arbitary value chosen that the user has no control over.
Defaulting to using "advanced mode" is not really a solution. The amount of flags that you need to hunt for and inject into advanced mode is overwhelming for most users, including myself. I spent hours on this.
Simply adding a text field to inject the user's requirements for CBR would be ideal.
For VBR, we would need more fields:
- Target bitrate
- Max bitrate
- Buffer bitrate (or can be calculated on the user's behalf).
Ideally, this should be a "range slider".
