Transparency follow-ups ahead of 3.0 GA. Name the first AGM explicitly — **May 6, 2026** — in CHARTER.md, the governance page, and the FAQ, so the elected-board transition has a concrete replacement date for the interim board rather than a vague "2026" target. Reconcile the governance-page board roster with CHARTER.md (Malovrh and Masse replace Rothenberg and Schreurs) using initials-based avatars where no photo is on file. Rewrite the Scope3 FAQ entry as "How is AAO related to Scope3?" so the anchor referenced from the AI Disclosure page actually resolves, and mirror the fix in both docs and main-site copies of the disclosure. Replace the soft "no single company controls" framing in "Who created AdCP?" with the concrete interim-board composition and AGM date; extend the AAMP entry with an explicit "agentic buying vs. agentic bidding" layer distinction so the IAB Tech Lab comparison reads as coexistence, not competition. Bump the "How mature is the protocol?" answer to name the current release candidate (3.0.0-rc.4) rather than the generic RC cycle, and point at the release-notes page for the per-RC change log. Add a root-level CONTRIBUTORS.md crediting external issue authors, PR authors, and working-group participants alongside Scope3 contributors, so the "who built this?" answer is discoverable as a file rather than a GitHub-UI inference.

# Contributors

AdCP is developed in the open by [AgenticAdvertising.org](https://agenticadvertising.org) (AAO). This file credits the individuals and organizations who have shaped the protocol through issues, pull requests, working-group discussions, and specification reviews.

The canonical record of code contributions is the [Git commit history](https://github.com/adcontextprotocol/adcp/commits/main). This file is a complementary narrative credit, because much of the meaningful input to a standards document arrives as issues, working-group feedback, and review — not as commits.

## How contributions are credited

Contributions to this repository are governed by the [IPR Policy](./IPR_POLICY.md), which covers copyright, patent grants, and specification contribution terms. There is no separate CLA: the IPR Policy is the contribution framework.

Listings below give GitHub handle, name (where public on the contributor's profile), and affiliated organization (where public). No affiliation is inferred; missing fields mean the contributor has not published that detail on GitHub.

## Scope3 contributors

Scope3 seeded AAO with foundational IP, funding, and the initial property-catalog knowledge graph. See [How is AAO related to Scope3?](https://docs.adcontextprotocol.org/docs/faq#how-is-aao-related-to-scope3) for the full relationship and the specific recusal rules that apply to Scope3-affiliated interim directors.

Scope3 engineers and staff who have committed code, reviewed pull requests, or shaped working-group discussion:

- Anne Coghlan ([@coghmeister](https://github.com/coghmeister))
- Baiyu Huo ([@BaiyuScope3](https://github.com/BaiyuScope3))
- Brian O'Kelley ([@bokelley](https://github.com/bokelley))
- Emma Mulitz ([@EmmaLouise2018](https://github.com/EmmaLouise2018))
- Kristen Moegling ([@kmoegling-scope3](https://github.com/kmoegling-scope3))
- Lizzie Lawlor ([@llawlor-scope3](https://github.com/llawlor-scope3))

## AI assistants

Anthropic's Claude and Cursor are used throughout AAO's development workflow — authoring documentation, drafting pull requests, reviewing specifications, and operating Addie (AAO's teaching agent) and Sage (the protocol explainer). See the [AI Disclosure page](https://docs.adcontextprotocol.org/docs/ai-disclosure) for the full accounting of what is AI-authored versus AI-assisted, which models are used, and how to request human review.

## How to contribute
