💡 What: The UX enhancement added

  • Added a formatWithCommas utility function to format large scores (e.g., "1,234,567" instead of "1234567").
  • Implemented CLR_EOL (\033[K) for robust terminal line clearing, replacing manual space padding.
  • Enhanced the start screen, live HUD, and game-over summary with consistent bold coloring and better context (displaying the previous personal best on new records).

🎯 Why: The user problem it solves

  • Large scores were difficult to read at a glance in a fast-paced game.
  • The HUD occasionally flickered or left "ghost" characters when score length changed.
  • Players lacked immediate context on how much they had improved their record.

♿ Accessibility: Any a11y improvements made

  • Improved visual hierarchy using bold terminal colors to distinguish labels from values.
  • Standardized interactive key hints (e.g., [Any key]) for consistent instructional design.
