These commits add support for HTTP/1.1 proxies using the HTTP CONNECT method.
Commit f57f6b3 implements functional support for HTTP. It adds a
BHttpProxyClientstructure, which is largely based on theBSocksClientimplementation and supports basic authorization via the Proxy-Authorization header (Base64).Commit 1297570 renames variables that are no longer specific to the SOCKS protocol. Instead, the more generic term
proxy, which applies to SOCKS and HTTP, is used. However, this commit may lead to larger conflicts interfering with other ongoing development, so it might be desirable to not apply it.Commit 4448e82 implements an error message notifying users that
--append-source-to-usernameis not supported for HTTP proxies.Commit 5cd80be adds the generated definitions for logging
BHttpProxyClientmessages.
