"use strict"; is going to break behaviour of codemirror if not removed

I just tried to make codemirror run with multiple areas that are supposed to be editable (using an ng-repeat) and it did not work.

I finally found that removing "use strict;" will allow it to work properly.

Not right now, but I can tell you that I replace the entire module with this plnkr and it worked just fine. I added the use strict to the plnkr and that made it not work anymore.

But I can share the only thing that I have on the page, the only markup besides the scripts and styling:
