Description

After launching with opencode serve, passing a video file to a model that supports video input results in the error: "Only images, PDFs, or text files can be attached here."

A cleaner architectural approach requires a capability-aware routing mechanism:

1. Capability Tagging: Introduce explicit feature arrays within the model registry (e.g., features = ["text", "vision", "video"]). If the active engine matches the target asset capability, OpenCode should bypass standard text parsing and route the binary file directly to the provider's native File API.

2. Tool Interception: As an immediate workaround, the core view_file tool hook can be overridden locally. A wrapper script can evaluate the environment variable for the active model and the file extension on every turn—safely passing text to the standard OS reader, but intercepting binary media to stream it via the Google File API whenever Gemini is engaged.
