Regression: worked in 1.14.48, broken in 1.14.50

Failed to initialize OpenTUI render library: Failed to open library "...so":

Steps to reproduce

1. Install and run opencode 1.14.48 in Alpine Linux (docker or VM)
2. verify that the TUI works
3. upgrade to 1.14.50
4. run opencode --print-logs 2>&1

FWIW, I have gcompat installed. How can I recompile the binaries with musl libc?

Your issue is more specific (a regression between 1.14.48 → 1.14.50, with getcontext missing in the opentui shared library), which may point to a change in the opentui build that reintroduced a glibc dependency. If your case is different enough, the specific version regression context here is valuable.

i have the same exact issue it just happened today for some reason, even though i haven't touched any gcompat or opencode settings or updates, just happened around 12 hours ago.

Next release is on its way and pins GLIBC to 2.28 which should solve many of these issues.

Cant speak for this exact thing but I did all with as much navite alpine build as possible.I even tried to avoid gcompat for as long as possible

Same Issue on 1.15.0 using the docker image. No luck with attempting work arounds from my Dockerfile.

Could you share a minimal dockerfile causing this?

@kommander I have the same issue. The minimal docker command to reproduce the issue is:

docker run -it --rm ghcr.io/anomalyco/opencode:1.15.0 --print-logs

It is reproducible with 1.14.49, but not reproducible with 1.14.48

I've tried to install gcompat and libc6-compat inside the container, but it did not worked out.

Yeah, i don't know if this should be a separate issue, but yes - the official docker image does not work with the latest version...

Going back and forth with AI, the issue is caused by the bun-pty project, that doesn't have reliable musl pre-builds available. Where in this case the base docker image is alpine with musl. The easiest solution here would be to switch to another glibc based linux distribution.
