Issue of the end points of edges in Graph chart

What is expected?

The end points of the edges should be visible.

What is actually happening?

The end points of the edges between "节点 1" and "节点 2" are not visible because they are behind the nodes.

It looks like the end points do not take the symbolSize into account (not on the general level and not on the particular nodes). Until fixed, you could modify the symbolOffset for the two nodes:

@sxmpasch thanks for the suggestion. I'll use the workaround. It would be good to have this issue fixed to avoid the need of using offset.

If the symbol type is "circle", the end points of the links will be perfectly positioned. I guess the positions are calculated only based on circle, not on other types.

Besides, I would think this issue can be considered as a bug because the end points of the links are not at the positions where they are supposed to be. Would you agree?

I thought it solved your problem so I added waiting-for-author tag, waiting for you to close or I will close it after a week if the author did not respond.
I think symbolOffset is the correct way to do this, since it's designed to adjust the position of symbols.

If you use SVG to render the graph, you will see the position of the edge is actually much inside the nodes and it's not a problem with symbols on the edges.

Actually, the start and end position calculation is quite complex. You can think they lie on an arc, not considering the shape of the nodes. Because if we wish to make the edge start and end exactly on the border of the node shape, it would be a super complex way to calculate (think about collision detection algorithm).

So, I think it is a good idea to keep it this way, and use symbolOffset to adjust as you wish.
