All I can say is "Thank-you!". I cut my teeth on the ZX81 that I ordered directly from Sinclair back in 1982 from a magazine advertisement. As a struggling college student, I delved into writing a rather large basic program that met my needs with car maintenance. It was an exciting time and I learned a great deal. I also became so enamored with my ZX and I wanted a Spectrum SO BAD!!! Unfortunately, they were not easily available in the US at the time and I was in college, so no funding...
A few months ago, I saw the ESP-Rainbox on Crowd Supply and it triggered my love for my old ZX81 and NOW I could own a better version of the Spectrum. I became a backer and watched with great interest how this was all being put together. I recently received my Rainbow and have been having a ball with it. It works flawlessly and I am learning Sinclair basic all over again. I hope you will follow-up with an HDMI interface, but I am grateful to have the Rainbow and the many hours of enjoyment that will bring. It looks like in order to Crowd fund your dream, you better do it for the love, rather than the money. I hope the many, many hours you spent on this project have rewarded you in only a way that you can measure. But, for me, the wait, the money and the experience were delightful and rewarding.
