[Bug]: Background of the sidebar stays dark using the light theme

Description

If the app is set to the light theme, the sidebar uses a dark background but the font is set do black. This makes it impossible to read anything.

If the theme is set to dark, the background stays dark, but the font changes to white.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Go to Settings / Appearance
2. Set theme to light
3. Close settings
4. Open sidebar in mail, calendar or contacts

Expected Behavior

The background should be white

Actual Behavior

The background stays dark no matter what theme is used
