Gear where quality should be

My code is
player.hlsQualitySelector({ displayCurrentQuality: true, });
as per the docs, but when I load the page, it doesn't show the quality, instead it shows a cog (gear) icon.

I'm including in order:

The problem caused by <span class="vjs-icon-placeholder">. I tried to customize vjsIconClass, which didn't work. How to fix this?

UPDATE: The problem was caused by loading quality-selector.css from another plugin (videojs-quality-selector), causing a conflict. I removed that and the problem was solved 👍🏻
