The fingerprint sensor/udfps can't read the registered fingerprints whenever there's any kind of screen filters active (color correction, night light, etc..)
Steps to reproduce

Turn on (e.g.) night light
Sensor can't read fingerprint

Solution
In my opinion, turn off all filters on the lock screen automatically and keep them enabled after unlock

I'm running latest version available on crdroid.net for this device and that the device is still maintainer supported (not flagged unsupported on download page)
I have searched the existing issues and this is a new and no duplicate or related to another open issue.
