All new issues seem to be ignored. The code was changed last time in 2016 and most recent activity of the maintainer was in 2018. The documentation is outdated as well. It would be nice to have someone maintain this.

Have a look at nextjs.

It's react based but it's basically HTML/JS on the server side.

The last commit was 6 years ago 😐
However, it still works.
I tested it with Node v16 on Hostgator's cheapest plan, and it works like a charm.

It would be great to have new features, especially TypeScript typings.
