I build systems that think. Orchestration, evaluation, tooling, guardrails — and all the messy glue nobody wants to own. If it has layers, abstractions, or knobs to turn, I'm already poking at it.
Trade-offs are my thing. Speed vs clarity. Flexibility vs correctness. Why the boring solution usually wins. I learn for sport — deep dives into how things work, even when the thing has nothing to do with my day job. I like explaining hard ideas simply, especially when the original explanation was overcomplicated or just vibes.
When I'm not building, I'm tinkering. Software, hardware, workflows, side projects that absolutely did not need that level of effort. I shoot photos that try to make ordinary scenes look intentional. I experiment with coffee — methodical, opinionated, willing to redo everything for a 5% gain.
Builder at heart. Skeptic by training. Nerd by choice.
