- Updated maven plugin versions
- Removed duplicate CI job
- Included test classes in Checkstyle checks
- Fixed Checkstyle violations
- Removed obsolete elements from POM file
- Adapted the SNAPSHOT and release jobs to use the new Maven Central Portal.
