Could not find C standard library

I got the error: RuntimeError: Could not find C standard library when running the getting started script https://github.com/elliottech/lighter-python?tab=readme-ov-file#getting-started. How to fix it?

I'm using Python 3.11.0, windows 11

In the README.md, it requries Python 3.8+. However, from Python 3.8 onwards, ctypes.util.find_msvcrt() always returns None.

Same issue here.
Resolved by downgrading the SDK from 1.0.6 to 1.0.3. (Ty BlazeFury)
Also make sure to have your VC_redist installed, and your Path updated.

Same here. On windows it says

in get_libc raise RuntimeError("Could not find C standard library")

But on linux it works just fine.

0xsacha from lighter discord recommended downgrading to 1.0.3 and it works on windows without trowing the C lib error:

pip install --upgrade --force-reinstall git+https://github.com/elliottech/lighter-python.git@v1.0.3

To the devs, please fix this with the next update, since any version above 1.0.3 is broken in this regard.
