Securities Reference Data Project Plan

The following phases were proposed by @saileshpandey at the August 4th SecRef meeting:

Phase I - Building Prototype & Socializing the project idea.

Duration: Mar '20 - Sep '20.
Major upcoming Milestone: Presentation to a wider group on 18th Aug

Phase II - solution design & creating detailed execution plan

Duration: Oct '20 - Dec '20

Phase III - Execution

Duration: Realistic estimates to be available after the design phase is complete.

Closing this issue following the 3/25/2021 announcement to temporarily pause the SecRef Data biweekly meetings (copied and pasted below):

All – As mentioned in the last few calls that we will be pausing the Sec Ref data bi-weekly calls. You will receive meeting cancellation notification soon.

To re-iterate, this is just a pause (not the end) of the SecRef project. I believe there's still a great interest in creating a Security Reference data Identifier mapping tool. We will resume the meetings once there's commitment from at least 5-6 organizations to contribute data to the public mapping table. We believe the mappings will be useful if it is vetted by multiple organizations.
