Oh lol, I was working on the source map support and found out why this was happening. It appears that this only happens for any functions that belong to Object.prototype because we don't use Map, and we use obj[funcName] for TextMeasurement caching, and all these things that belong to object prototype appear as "already cached" with random prototype functions instead of proper cache values.

The solution is to use Map instead of an object.
