frymash/README.md

hey there, i'm isaac!

I’m a final-year Computer Science and Social Work student at the National University of Singapore (NUS).

I’m particularly interested in building + supporting sustainable solutions to problems that communities or public-benefit agencies face. "Building" here can refer to any part of the development process from needfinding to testing and maintenance. On the other hand, "supporting" can mean lending a helping hand to those who encounter issues while interfacing with solutions, or advocating for solutions that are both useful and effective.

Some examples of my past work include:

  • Early-stage development and feasibility assessments for an anti-gender-based violence (GBV) AI-powered chatbot in Bosnia and Herzegovina for the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
  • Working with the social work technologist in SHINE Children and Youth Services to integrate technology into manual, time-consuming aspects of social workers' workflows.
  • Enhancing Central Provident Fund (CPF) contribution crediting systems at CPF Board.
