Misc PR

Type of PR

  • Bug Fix
  • New Feature
  • Documentation
  • Other

Description

Adds a standard code of conduct policy similar to other open source projects.

The initial doc points to the org members list for private reporting, but this should be updated to either a MAINTAINERS.md or a committers list once we've added one of them

Testing

  • Tests added to the respective file if code was changed
  • New code has 100% coverage if code as added
  • Ensure existing tests and github automation passes (a maintainer will kick off the github automation when the rest of the PR is populated)

Agree with this proposal - it's a very standard, widely used text (with the well respected mozilla clarifications)

Per suggestion from @serjikibm I put this through a few AI models for review and made some improvements which can been seen in 1893b0c

Another review pass at those changes would be appreciated.

It's also worth adding that this doc should be cross-referenced in the CONTRIBUTING.md added in #369 either in a followup or after one of the PRs is merged
