I'm hoping to find a volunteer project or two to try out this version before releasing more widely.

I forgot about #244! Should I just make this the 1.0 release? I'm inclined to!

I'm pretty over the whole "everything is forever in 0.x.y" purgatory. We're still "breaking" releases every time we release a 0.x+1.y release, and it ties our hands from distinguishing bugfix (patch) from additive (non-breaking) releases.

And it's no big deal if the next next breaking release would then be 2.0.0, and so on.
