OS X 10.10: ncurses fails to build with gcc (but works with native clang)

The failure is:

It uses my own repository, where I applied some of the patches from upstream (which seems to only distribute a very old tarball and a set of patches). The problem is that this updated package then works with gcc, but fails with native clang... We need a set of source codes, that work with both compilers.
