Wrong keyboard height

In a Nexus 5x with Android 6.0.1 and using Crosswalk, the real keyboard height is ~ 293px
Listening to the native.keyboardshow event, event.keyboardHeight = 343

I am experiencing the same issue on my Galaxy S4. The keyboardheight calculates 25px too much, I guess it calculates the Statusbar's height, too. The problem is probably related to an other Cordova plugin or a setting in config.xml. I am still trying to figure it out

I needed to calculate the keyboardheight for an ion-footer with "keyboard-attach", which didn't work.

Now I found that a banner by the AdMob-Pro plugin was causing the directive "keyboard-attach" to fail.
I worked around this issue by using AdMob.hideBanner() for this specific view - if a user changes the view I call AdMob.showBanner().

Having a similar issue with Android 5.1.1 on a Motorola Droid. Though the calculated keyboardHeight is almost twice as large (360, when it should be 180).

This is the content of my "OnGlobalLayoutListener". It first compute the statusbarheight (it's sent as a result of the plugin call - be sure to treat is in the keyboard.js - see below) so you can use it in the plugin or in your app, and it compute the screenheight differently following the Build.VERSION.SDK_INT (http://stackoverflow.com/a/29257533/3642890).

For me there is also a 20px gap between keyboard and content when keyboard is visible.

I am seeing this issue as well. On my Nexus 5, the keyboard height includes the soft menu button bar at the bottom (back, home, menu).

The keyboard height returns 311 px. That includes the 48px soft menu bar at the bottom. The keyboard height should be 263px (in my case).

When viewed on my Samsun S6 they keyboard height is correct because that phone doesn't have the soft menu button bar at the bottom.

Does anyone know of a work around?
Is there a way to detect the presence of soft menu buttons at the bottom in cordova?
