Since bitcoin-core 0.21.0 the port 8334 is used as an alternate RPC meant for tor connections.

Since bitcoin-core 0.21.0 the port 8334 is used as an alternate RPC meant for tor connections: bitcoin/bitcoin@a5266d4
I'm not particularly attached to 9332, though most prometheus exporters have ports in the 9xxx range.
