SoundLoader not working in a new toolchain service

Hello.
I am using new style services in new toolchain with this service class and this media player class, and this is what i see in logcat:

I/myservice(20400): [CRITICAL] [AudioSDL2 ] Unable to initialize SDL: Application didn't initialize properly, did you include SDL_main.h in the file containing your main() function?

I/myservice(20400): [WARNING] [Audio ] Unable to find a loader for </data/data/org.test.npexample/files/app/audio/rain.ogg>

Does audio work in the main app, via the same method?

I am having the same problem with an app using audiostream:
SDL_Init: Application didn't initialize properly, did you include SDL_main.h in the file containing your main() function?

audiostream.core.AudioException: AudioOutput: unable to initialize audio

audio playback works fine in the main app thread, but in the service, it does that.

ive come to the conclusion that to get this working would require modifying PythonService.java to include SDLActivity stuff like PythonActivity.java does... but not knowing any java means this is way beyond me, if im even looking in the right place....

Also trying to solve this problem with audiostream. Works fine in main, but not in service.
There is a file Service.tmpl.java which is used for generating custom service class, maybe it needs some changes..
Btw, when i use MediaPlayer = autoclass('android.media.MediaPlayer'), service is playing fine in background. But i need to play continuously generated audio, so audiostream is necessary.
