Observed behavior
The issue can be replicated at both hotfixes and production: when I open an old channel with exercises some of them are being marked as Incomplete. If I just open the Edit details modal for the exercise and close it then the Incomplete status is removed:

The same is valid for some exercises with Completion set to When goal is met so it's not just valid for exercises with Completion set to Practice as I initially thought:

I'm not seeing any relevant errors in the browser's console. I'm also not able to replicate the issue when creating new exercises of all supported types.
