Thanks @derekshull. We should probably make that configurable, because the fips endpoint is only intended for legacy SSL clients. Let me confirm with @racerpeter. |

@cantino is correct -- the FIPS endpoint should only be necessary if you are running an older version of openssl. Can you confirm what version of openssl you have installed? |

Once I made this change the API was working again.
