When the player goes fullscreen, it sets a 500ms timeout to attempt to stretch the container to 100% a second time. This timeout should be cleared if the player exits fullscreen within 500ms - otherwise, the player goes seriously wonky. Try it out on http://mediaelementjs.com using IE10.
