control request: 3ds touchscreen buttons

I'm requesting the ability to have control buttons on the 3ds touchscreen, since 3dses are getting old and will begin having broken buttons soon.
I think it would be a relatively simple feature? I know coding is difficult, but I think it's a simple enough one?
