MongoDB recently released version 3.1 of the MongoDB.Driver, which introduced the ability to create search and vector search indexes programmatically. This is currently listed as a limitation in the connector for MongoDB for Semantic Kernel so the connector should be updated to not only reference the 3.1.0 of the driver but also add the ability to create a vector search index in the connector itself.
