I still don't really like the first sentence of the last para. Durability is something that users need to decide for themselves, based on their requirements --- the same way (in a single mongod setting) some users might choose j:true as being good enough, whereas others might want w:1. I'm not sure what to link "non-voting members" to; there's no glossary entry for it.
