So there is an big diff, maybe npmjs update the values

Can you check if you have some data correction settings enabled in the data correction menu:

1. open the chart modal:

2. check if you have any average window or smoothing applied, if so, set all to 0 to restore the raw data (and will be persisted in localStorage for future visits):

We have a default smoothingTau of 1 in the settings.
Should we have them set to 0, and let users apply their settings from there ?
The present issue seems related to this default being applied, in the case of a dataset with a relatively small surge. When visiting npmx for the first time, this difference might be confusing. Wdyt ?

No matter smoothingTau, first and last values are preserved to not be surprised.
All points in-between can be affected yes. I kinda like the default of 1 to have a nice looking trend. But i agree that it can be disturbing at first.
