Smaller variant of #59 to isolate whether the truncate fallback works on its own. 500 added endpoints produce a markdown body well over the 65 KB GitHub limit (triggers the fallback) but only ~1k DB upserts, so the container should not OOM in the carryForwardChanges loop the way the 15k case did. Not for merge.
