I realize reading scripts/create-dev-env.sh that my distro is not supported, so it would be nice to have this info in README.md for others.

Currently, we don't support anything other than Ubuntu LTS. We're making some movement toward Debian generally, and we have some ideas of how the code could work on Fedora/CentOS/Redhat, but (edX) haven't yet needed anything other that Ubuntu support.

However, if you want to work on getting edX to work on other platforms, we would really appreciate it! The biggest barrier to this work (that I know of) would be apparmor, which is used by codejail. For Redhat variants, it would be ideal if we could support SE Linux, but that would be a substantial effort.

If, on the other hand, you simply want to add some documentation to the project to let others know that Fedora isn't currently supported, you're welcome to send a pull request just for that. We're definitely trying to improve our documentation, so that would be a big help!
