What

Adds a Status section to the README documenting current capabilities versus the gaps to a live, real-money product — each gap with its reason and what it needs.

  • What works today — trading, persistence, liquidations, risk gate, wallet-verified login, fees/rebates, live oracle pricing.
  • What doesn't work yet — and why — public chain (faucet), real money (audit + legal), internet-reachable (hosting), audit (firm), liquidity (makers), legal (entity/geofencing), 24/7 ops (host/backups).
  • Hosting — why free tiers (Render sleep, Fly free allowance, Vercel frontend-only) don't fit an always-on exchange, and the paid always-on options (Railway, Fly.io).

Also fixes the previously-dead #status badge anchor at the top.

Docs-only; no code changes.

Documents current capabilities versus what stands between the platform
and a live real-money product, with the reason and requirement for each
gap (public chain, real funds, hosting, audit, liquidity, legal, ops).
Also covers why free hosting tiers don't fit an always-on exchange and
the paid always-on options. Fixes the previously-dead #status badge
anchor.
