Internal redirect circuit breaker

Today it is possible with internal redirects to get into an endless loop until PHP is exhausted if a view redirects back to itself.

Possible solution could be to limit that a view class can only be visited once during the duration of the run()-method.

This does not only catch simple scenarios like view A redirects back to A but also if A to B and the back to A.

This does add a limitation on internal redirects that the application cannot visit the same view class multiple times, but is that a plausible scenario in any application?
