  1. In Linux tauri is not performing as expected due to web-gtk being not performant enough. There is nothing tauri can do about it and Tauri 2's webgtk impl doesnt do any better. So we are moving to electron in linux. This will also help bring linux performance and support on par with windows and mac.
  2. Also includes node 24 migration from node 20 LTS(which is EOL in April 2026)
