[Bug]: iOS app local network manual connect: Failed to fetch remote environment endpoint #4893

Steps to reproduce

  1. Install macOS desktop app (v0.0.31, Intel, running on Sequoia 15.7.7)
  2. Install iOS app (v0.1.0, running on iPhone 17 Pro, iOS 26.6)
  3. In desktop app, Create link, pick scopes, create link, copy pairing code
  4. In iOS app, add environment, enter IP address + port, paste (universal clipboard) or enter pairing code, tap Add environment

Expected behavior

Successful environment addition

Actual behavior

Error appears: "Failed to fetch remote environment endpoint https:///.well-known/t3/environment (HttpClientError: Transport error..."

Additional notes:

  • On the same iOS device, opening the well-known URL in a browser works fine.
  • On the same iOS device, pairing via URL in a browser works fine.

Workaround

  • In desktop app, click QR code icon next to new client device name.
  • In iOS app, scan the QR code. New environment is added successfully.
