Seeing the mentioned Promise-related error after starting the extension from vscode

I'm getting this error in a popup, after about 7s after clicking the button:

The extension development host window does open and stay open.

Are you trying to develop the plugin? You're likely encountering this: https://github.com/rescript-lang/rescript-vscode/blob/ce34fd22832a08edf44f2dc427ea18176912619e/CONTRIBUTING.md#run-the-project

(If you're getting some Promise-related error alert, file an issue here so that we can find a workaround; this seems to be a VSCode bug. We currently just kill all our node processes and redo this step).

Hi @chenglou I got the same type of error. There are no node processes running on my machine.

Okay, I had to relaunch keeping a rescript project open.
The promise error does not occur.
