How to elicit exception NeedlessArgument

In working up tests and RDoc examples, I have not found a way to elicit exception NeedlessArgument. I see it in the code, but have not been able to make it happen. Any hints?

I realize that this issue has just turned 4 and you probably don't have this question anymore, but it's still open and I have the answer. So if anybody ever has this question again, here it is: configure GetoptLong with ['--x', GetoptLong::NO_ARGUMENT] and set ARGV to ['--x=z'].
