@keithrbennett Raised some really good points in #718 regarding being more intentional about how we are recording logged data. We've been pretty haphazard about it so far and I think we could maybe formalize this practice better.
One idea that came up in that discussion was to track a separate logfile entirely that would just track user actions, so that we can more easily find user activity without having to parse a logfile.
For now -- this issue is for discussion. When we can converge on a direction to move with this, we'll move to a new issue.
